| Theodore Lockyear, Esq. was a practicing trial lawyer of forty-nine years. He graduated from Vanderbilt University, entered military service and returned thereafter to Evansville, In. to practice law. | |||
| He started collecting stamps as a teenager. On hold for quite some time, he returned to the hobby in 1972, accumulating U.S. Justice Department and Agriculture Department material. He acquired the 30¢ and 90¢ values on cover at auction several years ago which super-charged his already stellar exhibit and recently enhanced the exhibit with material from the Robert Markovits collection. | |||
| "Exhibiting presents a great opportunity to compete with other exhibits but also to see how others display, write-up, and feature their key pieces. Stamp shows have given my wife Joannie and I the opportunity to meet new people and make many new friends." | |||
