The Greatest Tyrant of All Time |
The hobby of philately covers many thematic subjects by depicting them on postage stamps and other postal items. One of those depictions is the Tyrannosaurus rex, a dinosaur from the Mesozoic era, the "Age of Reptiles". |
Tyrannosaurus rex, probably the most famous of dinosaurs, was one of the largest and most powerful terrestrial carnivores in our earth's history. Due to the spectacular size and the attributed ferociousness of this animal, many experts study the available fossil remains. |

At least 22 specimens have been found, of which several are nearly complete and in good condition. From these remains, much of the lifestyle of Tyrannosaurus rex has been discovered and the remaining questions are on the way to being answered. |

Tyrannosaurus rex was without doubt a truly special and magnificent animal. These pages provide an overview of the information currently available to the public. Welcome to the world of the greatest 'tyrant' of all time. |
